Scholarships

Bequest of the late Louis Rosenfeld. The award has a value of approximately $400 with a total possible value of approximately $2,400 over 4 years; awarded for general proficiency. The scholarship includes tuition allowance of $500 per year, which is renewable with an annual GPA of at least 3.50 on a course load of four full course equivalents (FCEs) from September to September. Eligible students are automatically considered.

To recognize and encourage outstanding academic performance in Science, Social Sciences and the Humanities at University College. Awarded to students finishing their first, second, third or fourth year of study. Eligible students are automatically considered

Awarded to a student to recognize and encourage outstanding academic performance and involvement in activies related to the Peace and Conflict Studies Program. Please consult PCJ website for application timelines and instructions.

Awarded to one or more third or fourth year undergraduate students enrolled in a Political Science program to provide financial support for International students study or internship. Academic merit and financial need may be considered.

Awarded to a student graduating from the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering with a minimum B average, demonstrated financial need, and leadership during their tenure at the University, as well as involvement in the GTA community. 

To be awarded to a New College student in the Faculty of Arts and Science, returning in second, third or fourth year, on the basis of good academic standing and financial need. Preference is given to students in residence. Students are automatically considered for this award in September. Selection based on academic results from the previous fall/winter session.

The Lucia Colavita Memorial Scholarship is be awarded on the basis of merit, to an in-course undergraduate student attending St. Michael's College, and registered in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given to students who intend to pursue a career in special education and has demonstrated philanthropic interests or community service.

The Lucia Colavita Memorial Financial Assistance fund is to be awarded, on the basis of need, to an undergraduate student attending St. Michael's College, registered in the Faculty of Arts and Science with acceptable academic standing. Preference will be given to students who require financial assistance to offset the cost of education supports needed to ensure success which may include but not limited to note-taking assistance, tutoring, assistive and adaptive technology.

Awarded to a student who has excelled in cancer research. Preference will be given to a student who has worked in areas related to cancer cures, prevention or alternative therapies with demonstrated financial need. OTSS conditions apply. Award applications will be available in November.

To be awarded annually for deserving achievement by a University College student in a Commerce program. Financial need may also be taken into account. Eligible students are automatically considered.
