Scholarships

Awarded to Ontario first-entry undergraduate students with financial need who are the first in their family to attend post-secondary education.

Awarded to a student who is a descendent of one who has served in the Canadian forces, based on financial need and academic merit. Proof of service in the forces is required. Recipient must be an Ontario resident.

To be awarded to the student or students entering the first year of the Bachelor of Laws programme at the Faculty of Law with an academic background in the health care area or with substantial work experience in this area.

To be awarded to the student or students entering the first year of the Bachelor of Laws programme or to a student entering a graduate programme at the Faculty of Law with an academic background in the health care area or with substantial work experience in this area.

Awarded, on the basis of academic merit, to a student with outstanding achievement in French who has completed his/her second or third year and is enrolled in third or fourth year of the specialist or major program in French. Financial need must be considered.

Awarded to a student proceeding to Second Year of either Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, with preference for Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. Candidate must be a member of employment equity target group (women, aboriginal, disabled, visible minority). In addition to academic standing (minimum B average) the following will also be considered: strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills, involvement in extra-curricular activities, will not be receiving more than one other award of equal or greater value in second year. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada upon graduation

To be awarded to a Woodsworth College student with an outstanding academic record. Participation in college and student activities will be taken into account.

Awarded to a UTM student who is in good standing and has completed his or her first year (or a minimum of four credits) at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The student must be a Mississauga resident (i.e. prior to enrolling at U of T Mississauga) and have demonstrated financial need, as determined by the university. First preference will be given to a student enrolled in an environmental program. Second preference will be given to a student from a life sciences program.

To be awarded annually to an outstanding student in courses in the area of real estate law.

Awarded to Victoria College students enrolled in a music program who achieve excellence during the course of their studies, or to students who have completed a Faculty of Arts & Science music course and have participated in co-curricular activities on campus related to music (e.g. Vic Chorus, Hart House Choir, etc).
