Scholarships

Be awarded to one or more students in the Undergraduate Medical Education program to support approved research projects under the CREMS (Comprehensive Research Experience for Medical Students) Program. Preference may be given to student projects funded under a CREMS longitudinal program.

Bequest of the late Colonel R.W. Leonard, each of the value of $700 cash, with a total possible value of $2,700, for excellence in any subjects or for general proficiency. Of these, six are open to candidates from any schools in the province, and four to candidates from outside the Greater Toronto area. The scholarships include tuition allowance of $500 per year which is renewable with an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full credit equivalents (FCEs) from September to September. Bequest of the late Colonel R.W. Leonard, to a student of University College in any year, enrolled in at least one full course equivalent in Canadian Studies. Preference will be given to a student enrolled in the specialist program in Canadian Studies. Eligible students are automatically considered.

Bequest of the late Colonel R.W. Leonard to a Full time student of the University College in any year who is enrolled in the drama program. Eligible students are automatically considered.

Established in honour of Rev. John M Kelly in order enable eligible St. Michael's College students to begin their undergraduate education in College residence. The award will be applied as a credit on residence fees. Applicants must be residents of Ontario with demonstrated financial need. The recipient(s) must register in St. Michael's College and live in one of its residences.

Awarded to an undergraduate/graduate student based on academic merit to support his/her study or research in East Asian countries (China, Japan, Korea, etc.) Please contact the Department for an application.

Awarded to candidates for the Ministry of the United Church of Canada with high academic standing and who show the greatest promise

Awarded to a student demonstrating Biblical and doctrinal knowledge and skills as applied to preaching.

Awarded to a ThM or MPS student whose interest is in studying and practicing spiritual care and psychotherapy in today's changing world
