Scholarships

Awarded to students entering the First Year of any undergraduate program in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered.

Awarded to a student with overall A standing in a Third Year who is studying Political Science and another Social Science program. Financial need is taken into consideration.

To be awarded on the basis of academic standing, preference is given to International students students entering First Year of Mineral Engineering. If there are no suitable candidates in the MIneral Program, the award can be granted to International students students entering First Year of any undergraduate program in the Faculty. The awards (two on admission) are renewable in the Second Year (for students admitted to Mineral Engineering) provided honours standing is maintained at the end of the First Year and that the candidates proceed to the Second Year of Mineral Engineering

To be awarded to a student who has demonstrated superior academic performance, proficiency in clinical skills, and who has made a significant contribution to student life within the Faculty, possessing personal qualities of leadership, compassion, and sensitivity. Award applications will be available in January.

Awarded to a student proceeding to Third Year of Mineral Engineering on the basis of financial need. Academic standing will also be considered. The scholarship is renewable in the Fourth Year on the basis of financial need and academic standing.

Awarded to an Ontario high school student on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered. Registration Full time in September at UTM is required.

To be awarded to an outstanding full/part-time Innis College undergraduate student who is enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Science or a U of T student living in the Innis College Residence. The recipient has achieved distinction in the life of the College through the Innis College Student Society, the Innis College Council or the Innis Residence Council, and is expected to be "In Good Standing." This award is open to returning students and graduating students. A student may receive this award only once.

Awarded to one or more University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) undergraduate students participating in a University of Toronto study abroad, or independently arranged research opportunity to an institution approved and recognized by UTM where the courses/research will be accredited to the student’s U of T degree

Awarded to one or more students in the major/minor or specialist program in Jewish Studies based on performance in third year.

This scholarship was established by friends and associates of Dr. Locke upon his retirement as Head of Anaesthesia from 1960 to 1990. The monetary award is awarded to the most outstanding student in Second Year in the subject of Anaesthesia. First awarded in 1991.
