Scholarships

Awarded to two students entering First Year of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering on the basis of high academic standing and demonstrated volunteerism and community spirit. The award is renewable for Second, Third, and Fourth year provided the recipient continues in Mechanical Engineering, maintains a minimum "A" average and has continued involvement within the Community or involvement within the University. The award is made on admission every four years, or in any year in which a recipient does not qualify for renewal. Recipients must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents.

Awarded to 2 students entering First Year of Mechanical Engineering on the basis of high academic standing and demonstrated volunteerism and community spirit; recipients must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. This scholarship is renewable for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year provided recipients continue in Mechanical Engineering, maintain a minimum “A” yearly average and have continued involvement within the community or involvement within the University. The Award is made on admission every 4 years or in any year in which recipients do not qualify for renewal.

To be awarded to Full time undergraduate student(s) going into second year who have a good academic record and a serious involvement in some worthwhile activity in the field of sports or in the arts, and who can also demonstrate a need for financial assistance

On the recommendation of the Italian Department, to be awarded to the UTM student with an outstanding contribution to the annual Italian play. Student should be in otherwise good standing.

Awarded to outstanding, newly-admitted Victoria College students.

To be awarded to a student/s enrolled in Woodsworth College who demonstrates financial need, is studying in the Humanities and demonstrates ability, skill and interest in music.

To be awarded to an Innis College undergraduate degree student in the Faculty of Arts and Science (FAS) for outstanding academic performance. Students with a CGPA of at least 3.70 as they pass their 5th, 10th, and 15th credit completed in the FAS will be considered. To receive the award, recipients must register at Innis College in the subsequent Fall/Winter academic session.

Awarded to a student entering the fourth year of a Faculty of Arts and Science academic program. Selection of the recipient will be based on financial need. Academic merit and extra-curricular activities will also be considered. The award will rotate annually among students in programmes in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences.

Awarded to students who at the end of a First Year of courses in Languages and/or History have overall A standing.

Awarded to students who at the end of a Second Year of courses in Languages and/or History have overall A standing.
