Scholarships

To be awarded to a first year student, who is the first in their family to attend University and in financial need. This bursary is renewable for a three year period (total award of four (4) years) on the basis of successfully completing four (4) course credits in the previous academic calendar year and registered in the new academic year.

Awarded to a fourth year student(s) each year within the field of Jewish Studies who has been accepted into the MA program in Jewish Studies, or been accepted into the Faculty of Education at the University of Toronto. The selected recipient(s) shall demonstrate academic merit and outstanding contribution(s) with volunteer involvement in the general and/or Jewish community. Financial assistance may be considered

Awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) in the Architectural Studies program on the basis of demonstrated technical understanding of the building envelope and showing promise or talent in design.

To be awarded to students registered in any faculty or school on the basis of high academic standing achieved in the second year of their course.

Funds will be used to enable the Faculty of Law to send a total of 9 students over the next three summers (3 students every summer, starting in the summer 2019) to South Africa for 12 weeks to work with SASLAW.

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the University of Toronto on the basis of financial need in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering

The Special Woodhouse Prize is the bequest of the late A.S.P. Woodhouse, for many years head of the Department of English. The prize is of the value of up to $5,000 to assist University College graduates to pursue studies in English at graduate schools within or outside Canada.

Endowed by the late Professor Squair, of the value of the annual income from the Fund, for books. Eligible students are automatically considered.

To be awarded preferably to an equal number of male and female graduate or undergraduate students on the basis of financial need, a minimum B average and a member of one of the Varsity Blues Teams. Students from across all three campuses and from all colleges and faculties are eligible to apply, without any emphasis on a particular field of study. Preference will be given to in-course students.

The St. Margaret's College Alumnae Association Prize, of the value of the annual income from the Fund. Preference will be given to a woman student who proposes to enrol in the School of Social Work, or who has graduated in Honour Sociology, or otherwise at the discretion of the College council.
