Scholarships

Awarded to a student proceeding to Third Year of Mechanical Engineering on the basis of good academic standing, sound character, and financial need.

To be awarded up to three students taking the highest places in each of Business Organization and Taxation.

Display: Presented annually to the three students who are judged by a committee of students and faculty to have demonstrated the most outstanding advocacy skills in the moot court program or in any mooting competition.

To be awarded to student(s) on graduation from the University of Toronto to assist in relief of student loan debt. The student/s will be graduate/s of an access program at Woodsworth College. Students must have financial need. Academic merit may be considered.

Awarded to an outstanding fourth year student, who has completed at least five full course equivalents of the Specialist Program in Actuarial Science in 3rd and 4th years. At least three full course equivalents must be in Actuarial Science. Financial need may be considered.

The C. Leroy Coultis Scholarship was given by the late Mr. C. Leroy Coultis to be awarded to the student enrolled in Year 1 of the Doctor of Pharmacy program who attains the highest mark in First Class Honours in the subject Pharmaceutics (PHM141H1) and who obtains at least Second Class Honours standing in the First Year.

The Canadian Society for Hospital Pharmacists (Ontario Branch) has established this award to be given to the Doctor of Pharmacy student who obtains the second highest grade in PHM371H1 Institutional Pharmacy Practice Management. This award is intended to raise the awareness of Pharmacy students of hospital pharmacy through familiarization with the goals, activities and services of CSHP, and the Ontario Branch in particular. The recipient will receive a membership in CSHP for one year; if the recipient pursues a hospital pharmacy residency, the membership will be extended to three years.

Awarded to the UTM student specializing in any of the Chemistry Programs and who has an otherwise satisfactory standing.

Three book prizes are to be awarded as follows: 1. The student with the highest standing in the course in Torts in first year; 2. The student with the highest standing in second year; 3. The student with the highest standing in third year.

Awarded to the Full time or part-time UTM student enrolled in the Art and Art History Program who at the end of Year II has attained the highest cumulative grade point average. Registration in Year III of the Art and Art History Program is a requirement of this award.
