Summary

To be awarded to New College students in the Faculty of Arts and Science or the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering for outstanding achievement in Physics. Candidates in the Faculty of Arts and Science must be enrolled in the Physics Specialist, or Physics Major Programmes. Preference will be given to students with overall "A" standing (i.e. a GPA of 3.50 on the five most recent courses) who have completed the second or third year of a Physics programme. In the absence of a suitable candidate in second or third year, however, the award may be made to a student who completed his/her first year and intends to enrol in a Physics Programme in second year.
