To be awarded to a violin student registered in a degree or diploma program, on the basis of financial need.

Best essay submitted by an undergraduate and MA student enrolled in any College or University in Canada, or by students not Current studentsly enrolled in an undergraduate or MA program but who have received their BA or MA degree from a College or University in Canada within the past year (12 months) prior to the application

Awarded to an outstanding UTM student who has made a significant contribution to the Italian Play in a non-acting capacity. In order to be considered the recipient has to have been registered in ITA315Y, ITA415Y, or any other course associated with the Italian play. Further registration is not required.

Awarded to the student who has achieved the highest A grade in any undergraduate course in Ukrainian language or literature. A student will not be eligible for the award on more than one occasion.

Awarded to an undergraduate student in the Department of French who is engaged in the study of French Canadian literature and has achieved high academic merit.

To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the Faculty of Law on the basis of financial need. Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated commitment to the Women in Law Club.

Multiple awards of a minimum value of $1,000 each will be awarded to undergraduate students completing first, second, or third year in the Caribbean Studies Specialist, Major or Minor Programs. Recipients must have a mid-B standing in the most recent session of study and meet the OSOTF II financial need criteria. In the event that there are no qualified students in the Caribbean Studies Program, the award may be made available to New College students of Caribbean descent in any program of study. Students are automatically considered for this award. Selection based on academic results from the previous fall/winter session.

To be awarded to a student (or students) in any year of the JD program who demonstrates financial need, complies with the OSOTF II conditions, and is a member of an under-represented minority group.

Through a generous endowment from Shoppers Drug Mart, awards will be given annually to students who demonstrate financial need, and who have successfully completed First, Second or Third Year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program. The awards to students who have successfully completed Third Year are designated as the Izzy Snyder/Shoppers Drug Mart Award. This is to honour Mr. Snyder’s commitment and loyalty to the company and to the profession. Information on application procedures will be provided to Doctor of Pharmacy students via e-mail in late September.

Awarded to a student with overall A standing in Second Year with preference given to a student who is studying German Language or Literature. If no candidate meets these terms, then it will be awarded to a student studying another language.
