Scholarships

The Kathleen O'Neill and Anthony Daley Scholarship is awarded to a full time undergraduate student attending St. Michael's College registered in the Rotman School of Management with high academic standing and demonstrating financial need.

To be awarded to a violinist, violist, or cellist, in the Artist Diploma/Bachelor of Music in Performance. The scholarship will be awarded to a student entering their second year and shall be retained by the recipient until graduation as long as they maintain an annual GPA of 3.0 or above.

Awarded to Second and Third Year students who have achieved high standing, and whose participation in athletics, stage productions, student government, student publications or volunteer service best exhibits a dedication to overall excellence. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a Major or Specialist Program in a Modern Language. Some awards will be made in compliance with OSOTF regulations.

To be awarded on the basis of academic achievement.

Awarded to an outstanding student in a program offered by the School of the Environment who has achieved a high mark in a course on environmental issues offered by or on behalf of the School at the end of second or third year.

Awarded $500 for an outstanding essay written within the previous two academic years on a subject dealing with some aspect of Ukrainian studies (art, Canadian-Ukrainian studies, history, language, literature, music, political science, etc.); or $1,000 for assistance in the further pursuit of Ukrainian studies (summer language training, graduate level research travel, preparation of manuscripts for publication). Submit essays or applications by May 1 to the Chair of Ukrainian Studies

To be awarded to an outstanding graduating Cinema Studies student (enrolled in either the Specialist or Major programs) who has accepted an offer of admission in the CSI MA program at the University of Toronto. Financial need is a requirement. This award will be paid out in September once registration in the CSI MA program is confirmed.

Awarded to an undergraduate student in a Computer Science program upon completion of third year on the basis of financial need and academic merit.

Awarded to a Full time student in either the Electronics Circuits course or the Analog Electronics course. Preference will be given to students that have a demonstrated passion in electronics, on the recommendation from the Electronics Group Chair for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Full time students in both the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Division of Engineering Science - Electrical and Computer option are considered for this award.

Awarded to student entering 3rd year in degree program in Dept of Management who is in financial need. Preference to student who showed a marked improvement from 1st to 2nd year.
