Sydney Shrott Award

Medical Pharmacies Group Limited established the Sydney Shrott Award to honour the retirement of one of its owners. Sydney Shrott has been a respected visionary and innovator in the profession of pharmacy for 58 years. Together with his partners, and with a consistent focus on people, he developed and operated 34 clinic pharmacies and became the largest provider of pharmacy services to long term care homes in Canada. This award is a tribute to his continuing dedication to developing strong pharmacy leaders.

Criteria

The Sydney Shrott Award will be given to a student in Year 4 of the Doctor of Pharmacy program on the basis of financial need, who has achieved the highest total grades in Pharmacotherapy in Older Adults (PHM352H1) and Community Pharmacy Management (PHM370H1), and completes an Ambulatory Care rotation as part of the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience program.

John and Myrna Daniels Foundation Opportunity Award
Awarded to students in any of the bachelor's or master's programs at the Daniels Faculty based on financial need and academic merit. Awards are available starting in the 2020-21 academic year. Undergraduate students will be considered for this award based on UT Grant submitted through ACORN. Graduate students will be considered for this award based on their submitted Daniels Faculty Graduate Grant.

Awarded to Victoria College students achieving excellence during the course of their studies in Third Year.
Hodgins Prize III
Awarded to a Victoria College student who has completed Third Year with overall A standing who is enrolled in a Specialist or Major program in English.
