Scholarships

Awarded to a Full time UTM student registered in a program in Physics at UTM on the basis of financial need. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a major program in Physics. Further registration is not required.

Awarded to a student in any year (full or part-time) enrolled in a Specialist or Major program offered by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese who has completed SPA220Y1.

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the University of Toronto on the basis of financial need in the Faculty of Arts & Science, with preference given to students enrolled in a Cell & System Biology Program.

To be awarded to a student in any year of the medical program who intends to undertake an elective in Psychiatry for the study of human depression. Elective award applications will be available in August.

The Governing Council of the University of Toronto has established admission scholarships in the Faculty of Pharmacy to be awarded to students entering the Doctor of Pharmacy program on the basis of the admission index score.

Awarded to a Full time undergraduate student entering second, third or fourth year in a programme in the Department of Management and Economics who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities in his/her school or community who: i) is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident; ii) has a good academic record (minimum B average/3.0 GPA/approximately 75%); and iii) demonstrates financial need

Awarded to a Full time undergraduate student entering second, third, or fourth year who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities in his/her school or community who: i) is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident ii) has been a Toronto resident for at least 5 years iii) is a graduate of a secondary school in Toronto iv) has a good academic record (minimum B average/3.0 GPA/approx. 75%) and v) demonstrates financial need.

Awarded to a degree student in the Faculty of Arts and Science who has achieved the highest standing in any course or program with a substantial content concerning the history or culture of Pakistan, South Asian Islam or Urdu Studies.

Awarded to the Year I UTM student obtaining the highest average in five full courses of which three must be in the Division of Humanities. Registration in the following year is not required.

Awarded to a UTM student enrolled in the English Specialist program on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered. Preference will be given to students who have completed year III. Further registration in the English Specialist Program at Erindale College is a requirement of the award.
