The Society of Chemical Industry Merit Award (Canadian Section)

An indivudual plaque to be awarded, on the recommendation of the staff in Chemistry, to the UTM student who has achieved the highest standing in the fourth and final year of a specialist program, involving chemistry alone, or in combination with, allied subjects such as physics, mathematics, geology, biochemistry, etc. In addition to completing such a program within four years, the recipient of the award must have attained a minimum average of 75%. As well, a large wall plaque is displayed in the Chemistry Department at the University of Toronto Mississauga bearing the names of the winners.
