Scholarships

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the University of Toronto Scarborough on the basis of merit and financial need

To be awarded to an incoming Full time domestic Rotman Commerce undergraduate student who is a graduate of the Harbord Collegiate Institute, Toronto. The award will be given to a student with demonstrated financial need.

Awarded to a student with overall A standing in Third Year who is enrolled in a program in History, taken in the broadest sense.

To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the Faculty of Law on the basis of financial need.

To be awarded to students either Full time or part-time on the basis of academic achievement. Students are automatically considered for this award in September, based on academic results from the previous fall/winter session.

Awarded on the recommendation of the Faculty in Economics to the UTM student with the highest standing in ECO370Y5 (The Economics of Organizations), and with an otherwise satisfactory standing.

The Harold G. Browne prize is awarded to the student enrolled in Year 3 of the Doctor of Pharmacy program who obtains the highest standing in Community Practice Management (PHM370H1), achieves an Annual Grade Point Average of 2.70 or higher, and who has not received an award of greater value.

This award is compromised of two awards: the Harold Innis Foundation Scholarship and the Harold Innis Foundation Prize. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of financial need and academic merit to Innis College degree students in the Faculty of Arts and Science (FAS) enrolled in an Urban Studies Specialist or Major or Minor program. Applications are not required for the scholarship. The prize is awarded on the basis of financial need to Innis College undergraduate degree students for outstanding voluntary activity that takes place off campus and outside the requirements of a course and that represents the legacy of Harold Innis. Recipients would normally be expected to have a CGPA of at least 2.0. To receive this award, recipients would normally be expected to register at Innis College in the subsequent Fall/Winter academic session. Applications are required for the prize.

To be awarded to undergraduate MD students in the Faculty of Medicine at the Wightman-Berris Academy who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. Financial aid applications will be available in March.

From an endowment given by Dr. Hubert W. deRenzy in recognition of the contributions to dentistry made by the late H. K. Box, Ph.D., D.D.S., and now co-sponsored by The Ontario Society of Periodontists, two medals are awarded annually, to two students who are the first and second most outstanding respectively in clinical Periodontics. First awarded in 1944.
