Scholarships

Awarded to a student enrolled in a program in the Visual and Performing Arts disciplines who: (i) has completed at least ten full courses; (ii) has achieved good standing in VPA courses; and (iii) Awarded to a student enrolled in a program in the Visual and Performing Arts disciplines who: (i) has completed at least ten full courses; (ii) has achieved good standing in VPA courses; and (iii) has made a significant contribution to VPA.

To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the Faculty of Law on the basis of financial need. Preference will be given to students from the West Indies, or developing countries.

To be awarded to a Hong Kong student who is pursuing studies in an applied sciences program (preferably in the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Engineering), on the basis of financial need. Awarded to a student enrolled in a Specialist or Major program offered by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, or the Major program in Latin American Studies. The grant is to subsidize travel and accommodation costs for recipients who intend to complete a program of study in a Latin American country during the academic year. This award is only offered in even years. Please contact the Department for an application.

To be awarded to first year undergraduate students at the University of Toronto on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated financial need. The award will be renewable for 4 years of study, provided the student is in good academic standing

Awarded to a Full time student proceeding to 4th Year in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering who has demonstrated consistent improvement from years 1-3, with preference given to student who demonstrates financial need.

To be awarded to a student entering 3rd or 4th year, who has already completed 1 FCE related to Asian studies or Buddhist studies and who plans to continue courses in these areas. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate academic merit (minimum GPA 3.0) and who participate in campus life, fostering cross-cultural connections.

For students enrolled in the Health Studies Programs at University College. Awarded to a student with financial need; recipients must satisfy the eligibility requirements of the OTSS program.

Awarded to an outstanding high school student based on their academic achievement in a senior level Italian course and on the recommendation of the Italian Department. Payment of the award is conditional upon Full time registration at UofT Mississauga (UTM) in September in ITA200Y or higher level courses.
