Candidates must be pursuing studies related to a career in the mining industry and must demonstrate financial need. Additional consideration may be given to candidate?s leadership skills, as demonstrated through extra-curricular and/or community involvement. The amount awarded is dependent on the recipient's annual income

John and Myrna Daniels Foundation Opportunity Award
Awarded to students in any of the bachelor's or master's programs at the Daniels Faculty based on financial need and academic merit. Awards are available starting in the 2020-21 academic year. Undergraduate students will be considered for this award based on UT Grant submitted through ACORN. Graduate students will be considered for this award based on their submitted Daniels Faculty Graduate Grant.
