Scholarships

To be awarded to New College students in any faculty for outstanding academic achievement in the third year of an undergraduate programme. Students are automatically considered for this award in September, based on academic results from the previous fall/winter session. The award was established by the University of Toronto Women’s Association (https://uawc.artsci.utoronto.ca/)

Awarded to an outstanding student in the area of Canadian Jewish Studies. If no suitable candidate can be found in the area of Canadian Jewish Studies, the scholarship may be awarded to an outstanding student in another area of Jewish Studies

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to undergraduate students enrolled in any undergraduate program on the basis of financial need. Academic achievement may also be considered. Half of the scholarships annually will be awarded to students entering first year and half to students who have completed first year.

Awarded to Victoria College students achieving excellence during the course of their studies in Second Year. Preference will be given to students following a liberal arts program.

Awarded to the Year II UTM student registered in one of the four UTM Environmental programs with the highest CGPA. The student must have completed three or four required courses in the program. Preference is given to those who completed four courses. Registration in Year III is required.

Awarded to Victoria College students with financial need, with preference given to students who are enrolled in the Vic One program

Awarded to newly-admitted Indigenous or First Generation students of Victoria College who have demonstrated financial need. Some of these awards are renewable for Second, Third and Fourth Year if the status of "In Good Standing" is maintained. Under the discretion of the Registrar and Associate Registrar, any remaining funds can be disbursed as non-renewable admission awards to support Indigenous or First Generation students

To be awarded to the student in the graduating class of the LLB program who has achieved the second highest cumulative average while at law school.

Awarded to the UTM student who is outstanding in an upper year Microbiology course, with preference given to the student who intends to pursue a careers in Microbiology. The recipient must have an otherwise satisfactory standing and will be required to continue in Full time studies during the tenure of the award.

Awarded to students (or teams of students) completing 2nd, 3rd and 4th year in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering who demonstrate strong academic performance and design capabilities in design intensive courses.
