Scholarships

Awarded to students in First, Second and Third Year in any undergraduate program in the Faculty on the basis of academic excellence.

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to a Full time, undergraduate student at the University of Toronto on the basis of financial need in the Faculty of Arts & Science.

To be awarded to the student/s taking the highest places in Estate Planning.

In recognition of Mr. Wilfred Isaacson’s contribution to the profession of pharmacy, his family and friends have established a scholarship to be awarded to a student enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program who obtains the highest standing at the annual examinations of the First Year, and who has not won an award of greater value.

To be awarded to the student completing third year, who in the opinion of the members of the teaching staff in History, has excelled in the study of History.

To be awarded to one undergraduate student from Hong Kong. Applicants must display a high degree of financial need and must have achieved a high academic standing in secondary school. The award is renewable for up to four years of study provided each recipient continues to demonstrate a high degree of financial need and maintains high academic standing at the University of Toronto.

To be awarded every four years to a student enrolled in the First Medical Year on the basis of a)need for financial assistance, b) character, and c) academic standing during his premedical education. The scholarship may be tenable by the student throughout the four years of the undergraduate medical course, provided candidate maintains a standard of character and academic standing in each year to the satisfaction of the selection committee. Applications will be available in the fall.

This scholarship was established by friends and colleagues of the late William J. Evon, D.D.S. It is awarded annually to the most outstanding student in Pharmacology. Honours standing in the subject is required. The value of the scholarship is the annual income from the endowment fund. First awarded in 1967/68.

To be awarded, preferentially, to a female student graduating from Stratford Central Collegiate and entering a program at the University of Toronto in science in the Faculty of Arts and Science, or in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. In the absence of an eligible female candidate, the award may then be given to a male. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement and participation in extracurricular activities to a student who, in the opinion of the University and the school, shows promise to succeeding in her chosen program. The William James Toth Pharmacy Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student from Brant County entering First year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program. If there are no candidates, the award will be forfeited until the following year.
